What We Treat

Three disciplines. One coordinated plan.

Your PT, speech, and OT teams share notes, goals, and progress — so you're never repeating your history at every appointment.

  • Chronic pain management

  • Fine motor & hand therapy
  • Activities of daily living
  • Return-to-work programs
  • Sensory & developmental (peds)

The Path

From first call to discharge, in four stages.

The same track every patient moves through — so you always know what's next and why.

01

Evaluate

A full clinical evaluation with the right specialist, plus a plain-language explanation of what's actually going on.

02

Plan

A written plan of care with real milestones and a target timeline — not an open-ended "let's see how it goes."

03

Treat

Weekly sessions with the same clinician, adjusted as you progress, with homework you'll actually understand.

04

Discharge

A maintenance plan you keep — so progress holds after your last appointment, not just during it.

What patients say after discharge.

Twelve weeks after knee surgery I was back to hiking Sabino Canyon. My PT adjusted the plan every single visit instead of running the same routine.

After my stroke, OT here got me back to cooking and driving. They tracked every milestone and never let a session feel routine.

Why Sonoran

Three specialties. Zero hand-offs.

Most clinics send you elsewhere the moment your case crosses disciplines. Ours doesn't. Your physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, and occupational therapist work from the same plan, in the same building, so nothing about your case gets lost in a referral.

Every clinician here carries a caseload built for actual attention — not volume. You get 45 minutes of hands-on treatment, every visit, with the clinician who wrote your plan.

Questions

Before your first visit.

Do you accept my insurance?

We're in-network with most major PPOs and Medicare. Send us your insurance card at booking and we'll confirm your benefits before your first visit.

Do I need a physician referral?

In Arizona, you can start physical and occupational therapy without a referral under direct access. Speech therapy typically requires a referral — we'll tell you if yours does during scheduling.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A photo ID, your insurance card, and comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have imaging or physician notes, bring those too.

How long is a typical plan of care?

Most orthopedic plans run 6–10 weeks. Speech and neurological plans vary more — your evaluating clinician will give you a specific timeline after your first visit.
